Our Vision
We envision a future where nonverbal behaviour analysis is an essential, integrated component of the gold standard of mental health care across professions — not an optional add-on.
A future where therapists can work with clarity and precision, feel energised rather than depleted, and genuinely enjoy the depth and impact of their work.
Our Mission
Our mission is to equip therapists and coaches with a simple, effective, and evidence-based framework for applying nonverbal behaviour analysis in real-world practice.
Through modern, technology-enhanced teaching tools and peer-to-peer feedback, we make learning advanced observation skills practical, fun and engaging.
Our Journey
From thousands of real-world client sessions, through postgraduate research in arousal, cognition, and emotional processing, to delivering university lectures on nonverbal behaviour, our journey is grounded in scientific rigour. The NBTI emerged by translating research insight into a practical framework for therapists and coaches.
Our Media
NBTI is grounded in a body of work that has already reached global audiences. Prior to its launch, Danny appeared on leading international podcasts, television, and UK radio, and is a published author in the field of nonverbal behaviour. This experience has shaped the framework's emphasis on clarity, rigour, and real-world application.
Meet our Founder — Danny Greeves
In my late twenties, I was successful on paper but struggling personally. I was single, lonely, and stuck — until one session with a nonverbal behaviour specialist changed how I understood myself and others.
Within days, my life shifted direction. I met my wife, started a family, and made the decision to leave a secure ten-year career in private physiotherapy to immerse myself in nonverbal behaviour and mental health.
Since then, I've applied my background in anatomy and physiology to nonverbal behaviour analysis across thousands of client sessions, helping people move through emotional barriers more effectively — while noticing that the work felt lighter, more engaging, and more sustainable.
NBTI was created after seeing skilled practitioners burn out not because they cared too little, but because they were carrying too much. My aim is to help therapists and coaches work deeply, clearly, and with care — without taking home what isn't theirs.
